Dugas was established.
  • Dubai Natural Gas Plant and onshore facilities construction commences.
  • Total Design Capacity of Dugas plants – 265-280 mmscfd.

Completion of onshore and offshore construction.

Offshore and onshore facilities commissioned.
  • 22 April – inauguration of Dugas plant. Design Capacity 100 mmscfd.

Rashid ‘A’ Gas Compression and Dehydration Project.

Rashid ‘A’ Field expansion and start-up.

Dugas pipeline from Margham to Jebel Ali completed.

10,000,000th metric tonne LPG produced.
1995
MTBE operations commenced 15 February 1995.
  • Design Capacity of plant – 500,000 metric tonnes per annum.
  • First MTBE shipment on 25 April.

MTBE - 5,000,000th metric tonne produced.
  • MTBE - 200th shipment.
